Starfield, which was opened to early access for those who purchased the Premium version on September 1 and became playable for standard version owners on September 6, is running from success to success as soon as it comes out. Even in early access, the game, which only reached 300,000 simultaneous players on Steam, achieved a new success.
Starfield reaches 1 million simultaneous players on all platforms
According to a post shared by Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer on X, formerly known as Twitter, Bethesda’s Starfield game managed to exceed one million simultaneous players on all platforms today.
“Starfield has surpassed 1 million simultaneous players across all platforms today. Thanks to the players and congratulations to Bethesda Studios for helping us achieve this amazing milestone.”
The sweeping space adventure, which swept the sales charts even before Bethesda’s official launch on September 6, had a positive post-launch start.
Players have recreated famous ships like Star Wars, Serenity and Star Trek using Starfield’s ship creator, and many hidden references to other games like Skyrim have already been discovered.
Speedrun players even figured out how to complete the game in under three hours. Mods have already been developed. So players have created a great community in Starfield, just like Skyrim.
