Spotify lyrics: Spotify has started testing a change that could cause controversy among users. According to new allegations, the company lyrics Only Spotify Premium wants to make it special for its subscribers. This move follows in the footsteps of Elon Musk, who recently made some of Twitter’s features available only to Blue subscribers.
Lyrics on Spotify will be exclusive to Premium subscribers
Some users on social media began to criticize Spotify’s tests. Spotify members in the US reported seeing a message saying “Enjoy the lyrics with Spotify Premium” when they try to view the lyrics.
Lyrics are now available to all users, regardless of whether they are paid or free. Also, in supported songs, it is possible to go to that part of the song by touching the lyrics. All these features can now be made Premium exclusive.

Speaking on the subject, Spotify Communications Manager CJ Stanley confirmed that they are testing this change. “We routinely run a series of tests at Spotify, some of which pave the way for our broader user experience, while others serve only as an important learning function,” he said.
This test comes just after Spotify hiked prices a few months ago. With the decision last month, it was offered at 29.99 TL per month. Individual subscription package for 39.99 TL removed. The Duo package of 39.99 TL has been increased to 54.99 TL.
The free version of Spotify includes ads in between songs and some restrictions during playback. Apple Music, one of its biggest rivals, does not offer free tiers.
