Suyash Sharma IPL Debut: Suyash Sharma’s ‘Dream Debut’
The match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Thursday saw a good performance by a new player Suyesh Sharma. KKR captain Nitish Rana included Suyyash Sharma as an impact player. This was the ‘dream debut’ of Suyesh Sharma who made his debut from Kolkata.

Suyash took 3 wickets giving 30 runs in 4 overs. Suyesh Sharma sent Dinesh Karthik back to the tent for 9 and Anuj Rawat for just one in the first match of the IPL and surprised everyone. He dismissed both the batsmen in the 13th over. He took the third wicket by dismissing Karn Sharma for one run.
Huge defeat for RCB
After Lord Shardul Thakur’s storming half-century, RCB’s team was blown away by the onslaught of spin. In a one-sided match, Kolkata defeated RCB by 81 runs. Chasing the 205-run challenge given by Kolkata, RCB reached 123 runs. RCB could not even bat the entire 20 overs. RCB’s innings collapsed in front of Kolkata’s spin.
Chasing the 205-run challenge, captain Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli got off to a stormy start. From the very first ball, both attacked the Kolkata bowler. But after Virat Kohli’s dismissal, RCB’s batting collapsed. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis opened with 44 runs in 4.5 overs. Virat Kohli was dismissed for 21 runs. After Virat, Faf also did not last long on the field. Faf was also dismissed for 23 runs. Glenn Maxwell also took a wicket after that. Maxwell could only score five runs. After three important batsmen were dismissed, RCB’s batting collapsed.
