Azerbaijan banned TikTok: TikTok, which has become one of the world’s largest social media platforms in a short time, is actively used in many parts of the world. However, the platform remains a matter of controversy in many aspects.

Azerbaijan truly showed state security, banned TikTok

Azerbaijan has been going through active times in military terms lately. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense is organizing an anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh in order to stop Armenian provocations. Some decisions were made as part of this operation.

Azerbaijan TikTok

Azerbaijan banned TikTok: Azerbaijan imposed an access restriction to prevent images from being shared on TikTok. The platform has a significant user base in Azerbaijan, as well as all over the world. On the other hand, it was stated in the statement that the situation was temporary. However, a clear date was not given.

TikTok continues to pay fines. One of the investigations opened against him has been concluded. Here are the details…

This is not the only problem of the TikTok platform these days. Recently, Irish regulators fined the TikTok platform 345 million euros for violating the privacy of users, especially children. This decision is recorded as the biggest penalty the platform has ever received.

Azerbaijan banned TikTok: On the other hand, the platform was fined after a similar investigation in our country. Last March, the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK) announced that a fine of 1 million 750 thousand lira was imposed on the social media platform TikTok. The reason for the decision is stated as ‘failure to ensure the appropriate level of security in order to prevent unlawful processing of personal data.’
